Configuring the Data Appliance for Windows
Whether this is the first installation of the Data Appliance for ArcGIS or you are plugging in a new set of drives, this configuration will need to be performed. There are two different scenarios for configuring the Data Appliance 5.0 for ArcGIS for Windows:

A Quick Start Guide customized for your configuration is included in the box with all Data Appliance for ArcGIS data collections. You can also view the Quick Start Guides online.
New Data Appliance
If you are a new Data Appliance user, you received a Data Appliance 5.0 for ArcGIS for Windows Quick Start Guide in the box with instructions for setting up the data appliance.
