Synchronizing the image service

LegacyLegacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

When you synchronize an image service, the Image Server Manager reloads the image service with the latest changes.

Steps:
  1. In the Image Server Manager, expand the server node in the Image Servers list
  2. Click the Services node.
  3. Click the image service in the table you want to synchronize.
  4. Click the Synchronize button Synchronize the service on the Image Server Manager toolbar.
