Removing a service provider

LegacyLegacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

If a service provider is running, it cannot be deleted. It must first be stopped before it is removed.

Steps:
  1. In the Image Server Manager, expand the server node in the Image Servers list.
  2. Click the Service Providers node.
  3. Click the service provider you want to remove in the table.
  4. Click the Stop button Stop the selected service provider on the Image Server Manager toolbar.

The service provider stops and the state field in the table is changed to OFF.

  5. Click the Remove button Deletes the selected service provider on the Image Server Manager toolbar.

The selected service provider is removed from the table.
