Stopping a service provider

Legacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

When you stop a service provider, all the services running on it will also be stopped.

Steps:

1. In the Image Server Manager, expand the server node in the Image Servers.
2. Click the Service Providers node.
3. Click the service provider you want to stop in the table.
4. Click the Stop button on the Image Server Manager toolbar.

   The service provider stops, and the state field in the table is changed to OFF.
