World Collection overview
The Data Appliance World Collection 5.0 for ArcGIS provides a set of map cache services that you can use to support your GIS work. A World Places Locator service is also included in the collection.

What you get with the World Collection
The World Collection contains map and task resources that you can publish on your ArcGIS Server system:
- Map caches generated in the ArcGIS Online/Bing Maps/Google Maps tiling scheme in WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere) projected coordinate system
- An ArcGIS Server 10 tiling scheme (conf.xml) file for each map cache
- Elevation globe caches
- Map document (.mxd) and globe document (.3dd) files that reference the map and globe caches for use in creating the map and elevation globe services on your ArcGIS Server 10 system
- Locator files for use in creating the World Places Locator geocode service on your ArcGIS Server 10 system
