Title: U.S. Highways

Abstract: U.S. Highways represents the major and minor highways of the United States. These include interstates, U.S. highways, state highways, major roads, and minor roads. This dataset is a subset of the Streets dataset. It contains all Class 1, 2, and 3 road segments plus any other roads segments necessary to provide network connectivity for the Class_Rte field.

Scale range: Largest scale when displaying the data: 1:100,000

Data location: ESRI Data and Maps \usa\trans\highways.sdc

Attributes: PREFIX, PRETYPE, NAME, TYPE, SUFFIX, CLASS, CLASS_RTE, HWY_TYPE, HWY_SYMBOL
