Parameters
Index [in]
  Index is a parameter of type long
directionString [out, retval]
  directionString is a parameter of type BSTR

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server. Requires Network Analyst Extension.

String returns the text of the particular direction element.
