Logging in to Esri Redistricting Online

As a signed-in member of Esri Redistricting Online, you can create, edit, and save plans, add services from ArcGIS Online, and submit your plan to the city for consideration.

To log in to Esri Redistricting Online, you must have an account. You can create an account from the log in page.

NoteNote:

When you launch Esri Redistricting Online, ensure you enable pop-up windows. Pop-up blockers may interfere with the application features.

Steps:
  1. Launch Esri Redistricting Online.

    Esri Redistricting Online requires that Adobe Flash Player version 10.2 is installed on your machine. If the Adobe Flash Player Update dialog box appears, click Yes to install Adobe Flash Player. Once installed, launch Esri Redistricting Online again.

  2. Enter your subscriber user name.
  3. Enter your subscriber password.
  4. Click Login.

    Your valid user name and password are accepted. Esri Redistricting Online launches to a default plan.

    LicenseLicense:

    The first time you log in to the Esri Redistricting Online application, you will be prompted with the Licensing Agreement/Disclaimer.

    1. Read the License Agreement/Disclaimer.
    2. Click Agree to continue, or click Disagree to exit the application.
    The Licensing Agreement only displays the first time you log in to the application.

    NoteNote:

    The first time you log in to the Esri Redistricting Online application, you will also be prompted to enter profile information on the User Profile dialog box.

    User Profile
    1. Enter your first name.
    2. Enter your last name.
    3. Enter your email address.
    4. Click Save.
      NoteNote:

      In the Esri Redistricting Online application, each user must have a unique first/last name combination. You may receive a warning message if another user of the same first/last name combination already exists in the database.

    You can update your profile at any time; see Updating your user profile for more information.

    When you log in to Esri Redistricting Online, the Learn tab is enabled. Here you can learn about the application and the process for creating districts.

Once you have logged in to Esri Redistricting Online, a template plan is opened for you to begin redistricting. You are now ready to get started. See Assigning geographies to districts to learn more.
