Working with plan attachments

You can add attachments to your redistricting plans. This allows you to associate documents with the plan or view existing attachments. Attachments can represent any information related to the plan. Examples of these documents could be:

The upload file size cannot exceed 2 MB.

CautionCaution:

If you have Read only access to a plan, you cannot add attachments to the plan. The context in this topic assumes you are the plan owner, or have Read/Write access to a plan.

In this topic, you will learn how to perform tasks related to plan attachments. You will learn how to do the following:

Viewing attached files

You can view all files attached to a plan for which you are an owner, or for plans that have been shared to you.

Steps:
  1. On the Share ribbon, click Attach Files.

  2. Double-click an attachment to view.

Adding attachments to a plan

You can attach documents with a plan. Attachments can be any relevant file that you want associated with a plan. For example, you can attach scanned maps, word documents, or spreadsheets that relate to a plan.

Steps:
  1. On the Share ribbon, click Attach Files.
    Attach Files option on Share ribbon

    The Attachments dialog box opens.

  2. Click Upload File.
  3. Navigate to and highlight the file you want to upload.

    The upload file size cannot exceed 2 MB.

  4. Click Open.

    The uploaded file is displayed.

Deleting attached files

You can delete attached files from a plan. This may be important when files become out of date or are no longer relevant to the plan.

Steps:
  1. On the Share ribbon, click Attach Files.
    Attach Files option on Share ribbon

    The Attachments dialog box opens.

  2. Click the Delete Delete Attachment button button next to the corresponding attachment you want to delete.

  3. Click OK to proceed.
