About defining projections in GeoMedia

ArcGIS Image Server and the GeoMedia client are designed to operate using projection systems. Therefore, the client application needs to have a projection system defined before loading an image service. Since GeoMedia cannot reproject the image service on the fly, the map view and the image service have to be in the same coordinate system.

A nonearth projection system is not supported by the ArcGIS Image Server client.
