Use bookmarks

The ArcGIS for Windows Phone application supports two kinds of bookmarks: map bookmarks, which are included when the map is authored and only available in particular maps, and application bookmarks, which are created while using the application and are available across all maps. Both of these types of bookmarks serve the same purpose: to make it easy for you to navigate to areas of interest in an open map by going to the location saved in a bookmark. In addition to using bookmarks, the app also allows you to create and manage application bookmarks.

    TipTip:

The Bookmarks page uses a jump list. If you tap the heading for either of the sections (My Bookmarks or Map Bookmarks) a list appears that lets you jump directly to either of the sections by tapping on that heading in the jump list. This saves you from having to scroll through all the other bookmarks to reach a particular category of bookmarks.

  4. Tap the bookmark you want to navigate to.
