What's in a slide?
Selecting a slide in the Slide Strip will show the map in the main panel as it will be presented when viewing the slide during the presentation. For each slide, the following information is captured:
- The extent (the scale and location) of the map
- Which layers are currently visible and which are not, including the visibility of any sublayers (other appearance properties of a layer are not captured for each slide, for example, its symbol, opacity, and so on)
- The time extent to display for any visible, time-enabled layers in the slide (if configured to do so in the Presentation Options dialog box)
- The active pop-up window, if one is currently visible in the map
- The current basemap
Additionally, you can add a slide title to each slide, if required. You can choose the title's appearance and location on the slide. A slide title is not shared between slides.
