Enabling the Esri Roads and Highways solution in ArcMap

Turning on the Roads and Highways extension enables you to access the advanced linear referencing system (ALRS) and associated tools and capabilities in the desktop environment.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Click Customize and select Extensions.

   
3. Check the Roads And Highways check box.

   If Roads and Highways is not listed, the software has not been installed. See Installing Esri Roads and Highways to install the software.

4. Click Close.
