Opening an image service reference file

An image service reference (.ISRef) file stores the connection properties to an image service. You can open an .ISRef file in ArcGIS.

Steps:

1. Click Customize on the main menu and click Customize Mode.
2. Click the Commands tab.
3. Click Image Server in the Categories list.
4. Drag and drop the Add Image Server Connection command onto a toolbar.
5. Click Close to close the Customize dialog box.
6. Click the Add Image Server Connection button .

   The Add Image Server Connection dialog box is displayed.

7. Click browse on the Add Image Server Connection dialog box.
8. Browse to the location of an .ISRef file.
9. Click the .ISRef file.
10. Click Open.

The file appears in the Selected Services list.

11. Click OK and close the Add Image Server Connection dialog box.
