Pan-sharpening function
The Pan-sharpening function uses a higher-resolution panchromatic image (raster band) to fuse with a lower-resolution, multiband raster dataset.
The inputs for this function are the following:
- Panchromatic image
- Multispectral image
- Infrared Image
- Properties
The infrared image is only used with the ESRI method. If you do not want to use the infrared image as part of the ESRI method for pan sharpening, you can remove the text from the parameter's text box.
The Properties include the pan-sharpening methods (ESRI, IHS, Brovey, Simple Mean) and the weights used for each band. You can modify each of the weights, which should all sum to 1.
To learn about each method, see Fundamentals of panchromatic sharpening.
