Starting a service provider

LegacyLegacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

Steps:
  1. In the Image Server Manager, expand the server node in the Image Servers list to which you will be starting a service provider.
  2. Click the Service Providers node.
  3. Click the service provider you want to start in the table.
  4. Click the Start button Start the selected service provider on the Image Server Manager toolbar.

The service provider starts functioning and the state field in the table is changed to ON.
