An overview of the Aeronautical toolbox

The Aeronautical toolbox contains tools that allow you to maintain aeronautical data and charts that use the Aeronautical Information System (AIS) data model.

Toolset name	Description
Cartographic Production	This toolset contains tools that allow you to create and maintain cartographic features for aeronautical charts that use the Aeronautical Information System (AIS) data model.
Change Detection	This toolset contains tools that allow you to track changes to aeronautical data that affect charts that use the Aeronautical Information System (AIS) data model.
Data Editing	This toolset contains a tool that updates either the x,y coordinate attributes or the geometry of point features. This synchronizes the geometry and chosen attributes.
Data Exchange	This toolset contains tools that are used for importing and exporting AIXM data.
Obstruction Identification Surfaces	This toolset contains tools that create obstruction identification surfaces based on the specifications outlined in FAA FAR 77, ICAO Annex 14, and ICAO Annex 15.
