Importing AAFIF sources by geographic extent

The Ancillary Source Loader imports features from various National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) sources into feature classes in a geodatabase.

The Ancillary Source Loader utilizes the MS Access database provided on TFAD CD-ROM from NGA to create three feature classes from the AAFIF database: point airports, line runways, and area runways.

The feature classes can be created in a new or existing geodatabase.

  1. Start ArcCatalog.
  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Defense Mapping.
