工作流:对现有要素类使用 SQL
此主题仅适用于 ArcEditor 和 ArcInfo。
将空间类型与 ArcGIS 结合使用的一个主要功能是能够通过 SQL 添加和编辑几何图形。本主题中的示例将介绍如何使用 ArcGIS Desktop 创建要素类,然后使用 SQL 对该要素类进行编辑。此外,还分别使用 SQL 和 ArcGIS Desktop 对要素类执行空间选择以验证结果是一样的。
在 ArcCatalog 中创建空要素类
此示例将介绍如何在 ArcCatalog 中创建空要素类。
- 启动 ArcCatalog,然后展开目录树中的数据库连接文件夹。
- 连接到将要在其中创建包含 ST_Geometry 列的空要素类的地理数据库。
- 右键单击该地理数据库,指向新建,然后单击要素类。
- 在名称文本框中输入 buildings。
- 在本示例中,要素类的类型为多边形,因此确保在类型中选择了多边形要素,然后单击下一步。

选择 NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_13N 作为坐标系。为此,依次展开 Projected Coordinate Systems 文件夹、UTM 文件夹以及 NAD 1983 文件夹,然后单击 NAD 1983 UTM Zone 13N。
- 单击下一步。
- 单击下一步接受默认 x,y 容差。

使用的配置关键字取决于在 DBTUNE 表中对 DEFAULTS 关键字的 GEOMETRY_STORAGE 参数所做的设置。
- 如果是在 IBM DB2 或 Informix 地理数据库中创建要素类,或是在使用 ST_Geometry 作为其默认几何存储的 Oracle 或 PostgreSQL 地理数据库中创建要素类,则可接受默认配置关键字,然后单击下一步。
- 如果是在默认几何存储类型不是 ST_Geometry 的 Oracle 或 PostgreSQL 地理数据库中创建要素类,则请选择使用配置关键字,从下拉列表中选择存储了 GEOMETRY_STORAGE 类型 ST_GEOMETRY 的配置关键字,然后单击下一步。

现有您就拥有了名为 buildings 的空要素类。接下来,使用 SQL 确定空间参考 ID 并向该要素类添加要素。
确定要素类的 SRID
必须先确定要素类的 SRID 值,才能向该要素类添加要素。SRID 是在地理数据库中创建要素类时分配的,其存储在各种 ArcSDE 地理数据库系统表中。
为确定所创建要素类的 ST_Geometry SRID,可使用 SQL SELECT 语句从 Oracle 的 ST_GEOMETRY_COLUMNS 表、Informix 和 DB2 的 geometry_columns 表以及 PostgreSQL 的 sde_geometry_columns 表中选择 SRID 值。

确定要素类的 REGISTRATION_ID
在使用 SQL 向要素类中插入记录之前,必须查询 TABLE_REGISTRY 表以获取该要素类的 REGISTRATION_ID。

您将使用从此查询返回的数值来获取 objectID 值。
所有要素类都包含 objectID 列。该列的值由地理数据库生成。因此,使用 SQL 向现有要素类中插入记录时,必须执行一个工具(作为 SQL 命令的一部分)来获取下一个可用的 objectID 值并将其插入到 objectID 列中。
使用 SQL 向要素类中插入要素
使用 SQL 编辑器将记录添加到要素类的业务表中,然后在 ArcCatalog 中预览要素。
在向要素类中插入记录时,请使用在前两个部分中获得的 SRID 和 REGISTRATION_ID。
使用特定于 DBMS 的工具来获取对象 ID 值。在 Oracle 和 PostgreSQL 中,可在子查询中使用此工具获取对象 ID 值。对于 DB2 和 Informix,先执行此工具获取对象 ID 值,然后在 INSERT 语句中使用该值。
在 DB2 中的地理数据库内插入数据时,必须使用 db2gse. 修饰空间类型函数。例如,在下面的示例中,ST_Geometry 会变为 db2gse.ST_Geometry。对于其他 DBMS,使用 sde. 修饰空间类型函数。

请确保在工具查询中使用此要素类的 SRID 代替 INSERT 语句末尾的 17,使用此要素类所有者的用户名代替 tbl_owner,使用此要素类的 REGISTRATION_ID 代替 40。

应用定义查询
您可以将定义查询应用到某个图层以显示具有某些属性的要素。例如,您可能只希望显示人口数超过某个阈值的城市。可以输入您自己的表达式,也可以使用“查询构建器”来帮助您构建查询表达式。要将所有要素重新添加回显示中,只需删除查询即可。
对于空间类型,在 ArcMap 中执行的定义查询可以包含空间组成部分。查询可以包括对存储过程的调用,存储过程可能也包含空间组成部分。此功能避免了客户端到服务器的处理过程,使您在管理系统资源时有更多选择余地。
空间查询通常比较来自两个不同数据集中的要素。因此,需要向地理数据库添加另外一个要素类以便将其与 buildings 要素类进行比较。
下面一组步骤介绍了导入第二个要素类,然后使用定义查询来显示建筑物要素(位于给水干管 50 米范围内)的子集的过程。
您必须通过运行 ArcGIS 教程安装程序来安装包含 water_lines 要素类的地理数据库。
- 安装 ArcGIS 教程数据。
