Closing a task assistant workflow in Task Designer
One or more task assistant workflows can be opened and viewed in the Task Assistant window at one time. You can close task assistant workflows to remove all workflows from the Task Assistant window. Closing task assistant workflows may be helpful when the workflow is no longer relevant to your task, the task is opened for reference only, or you are creating a new task assistant workflow.
-
Right-click in the Task Assistant window and choose Close Workflow.
If changes have been made to any of the workflows, the Save Changes message box appears.
- Click Yes to save any changes you made, or click No to close the workflows without saving any changes.
It is recommended that you only work with one XML file at a time, because root workflow nodes need not correspond to a separate file.
If you choose to save changes, the changes and the complete set of workflow nodes are saved to the workflow that was last loaded into the Task Assistant window. If multiple workflows are loaded in the Task Assistant window, saving causes all workflows to be saved to the same task assistant file, regardless of any workflow highlighted in the Task Assistant window. Changes are NOT saved to the individual workflows. The save will be made to the workflow file that was last loaded into the Task Assistant window.
