Viewing attributes of selected features
When you are manually reviewing features in the map, you may need to view attributes for individual items. This can be done to determine whether a feature should be committed to the Reviewer table. The Select and Identify Feature tool allows you to select features in the map and automatically view their attributes, as seen below.

- Start ArcMap.

If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.
- If necessary, load data in the map.
- On the main menu, click Customize → Toolbars → Data Reviewer.

Click the Select and Identify Feature button
on the Data Reviewer toolbar.

Select features in the map.
The Identify dialog box appears.

You can click the Layers drop-down arrow and choose an individual layer to filter the results displayed on the Identify dialog box.
