Keeping the current scale and extent

You can choose not to change the scale and extent that have already been set for the data frame by selecting the Do Not Calculate Scale or Extent option on the Scale and Extent dialog box.

1. Click Do Not Calculate Scale or Extent.
2. Click Next.

   The Dynamic Definition Query dialog box appears.
