Activating a data frame from the Layout window

You can have multiple data frames in a page layout. ArcMap lists each data frame in its table of contents. Only one data frame can be active at a time.

Data frames are listed as elements in the Layout window. You can use the Layout window to active data frames.

手順:

1. If necessary, click the Layout window button on the Production Cartography toolbar to display the Layout window .
2. Choose a data frame element in the Layout window.

   The data frame name in the ArcMap table of contents highlights in bold.

3. Right-click and select Activate Data Frame.

   If Activate Data Frame is not enabled, you have not right-clicked a data frame element.
