Importing AIXM data using geoprocessing

The Import AIXM to AIS geoprocessing tool supports the most robust AIXM 4.5 data available. It is based on the rules and relationships set by the AICM/AIXM 4.5 standards. The tool allows you to populate and maintain your database through digesting an AIXM 4.5 XML message. This allows you to manage your aeronautical data, create charts, maintain charts, and supply your data by using the Aeronautical Solution.

手順:
  1. Start ArcMap or ArcCatalog.

    If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

  2. On the main menu, click Customize Extensions and make sure that the Data Interoperability extension is checked.
  3. Make sure that an appropriate ArcSDE geodatabase is available.
  4. Click the ArcToolbox Window button ArcToolbox ウィンドウ on the Standard toolbar.

    The ArcToolbox window appears.

  5. Expand the tree view next to the Aeronautical Tools Data Exchange.
  6. Double-click the Import AIS to AIXM tool.

    The Import AIS to AIXM dialog box appears.

  7. Click the Source AIXM Dataset browse button and browse to the AIXM-XML data.
  8. Click Open.
  9. Click the Attribute Schema Mapper browse button and browse to <Install location>\ESRIAeronautical\Desktop10.0\DataConversion\AIS\SchemaMapper\AIXMtoESRI_Attribute.csv.
  10. Click Open.
  11. Click the Subtype Schema Mapper browse button and browse to <Install location>\ESRIAeronautical\Desktop10.0\DataConversion\AIS\SchemaMapper\AIXMtoESRI_Subtype.csv.
  12. Click Open.
  13. Type the name of the of the destination ArcSDE geodatabase in the Destination Enterprise Geodatabase text box.
  14. Type the name of the geodatabase server in the Server text box.
  15. Type the port or instance number in the Instance text box.
  16. Type the user name in the Username text box.
  17. Type the password in the Password text box.
  18. Type the name of the geodatabase version in the Version text box.
  19. Click OK.

    The tool can be customized. Right-click the tool to open the shortcut menu and click Edit to open the tool in a Data Interoperability workbench window.
