Deleting profile views

Selecting an existing profile view element using the Select Elements tool allows you to delete it by several different methods:

• Clicking the Delete button on the Standard toolbar
• Right-clicking the profile view and choosing Delete
• Pressing the DELETE key on the keyboard

1. Start ArcMap.
   ヒント:

   If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

2. On the main menu, click View → Layout View.
3. Click the Select Elements tool on the Tools toolbar.
4. Click the profile view to select it.
5. Delete the profile view by doing one of the following:
   • Clicking the Delete button on the Standard toolbar
   • Right-clicking the profile view and choosing Delete
   • Pressing the DELETE key on the keyboard

The selected profile view graphic is deleted.
