Adding a table as dynamic text using a field as a text string
Inserting Table dynamic text allows you to display the attributes from a table within your map or source database. You first select the table you want to use. After selecting the table, you can specify a specific attribute field to display using filtering and query options. With table dynamic text, you can query and use table values from any table you can access in ArcMap.
You can display an attribute field by using a SQL query to choose field values or you can create a script that returns the attribute or attribute field value you want displayed.
Selecting the Field text string option on the Map Sheet Dynamic Text Properties dialog box allows you to specify a specific attribute field to display as dynamic text.
