Flipping the direction of selected features

The Production Flip Selection tool allows you to reverse the direction of multiple polyline features at one time. For example, when one or more polyline features that have been digitized from left to right are selected, clicking the Production Flip Selection tool changes the linear flow right to left.

手順:

1. Start ArcMap.
   ヒント:

   If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

2. If necessary, load data in the map.
3. On the main menu, click Customize → Toolbars → Production Editing.
4. On the main menu, click Customize → Toolbars → Production Editing Advanced.
5. Click the Production Start Editing button on the Production Editing toolbar.
   メモ:

   The Manage Features and Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes windows automatically appear when you start an edit session using the Production Start Editing tool.

   ヒント:

   If the Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes window does not appear when you start an edit session, click the Link Feature Manager To Attributes Window button on the Manage Features window.

6. Click the Select Tool button and select at least one polyline feature.
7. Click the Production Flip Selection button on the Production Editing Advanced toolbar.

The direction of the selected feature is reversed.
