Making a connection from ArcIMS to a geodatabase in Informix

いずれかの ArcIMS サービスで ArcSDE のデータを使用するには、データベースに接続します。この場合の詳細は ArcIMS のヘルプで説明されていますが、ArcSDE ジオデータベースへ接続するために [ArcSDE 接続] ダイアログ ボックスで指定する基本的な情報は次のとおりです。

手順:

1. [サーバ] テキスト ボックスに、DBMS が格納されるサーバの名前を入力します。
2. What you type in the ArcSDE service text box depends on whether you are making a direct connection to the geodatabase or a connection using an ArcSDE service.
   • If you are making a direct connection, type sde:informix in the ArcSDE service text box.
   • If you are making a connection using an ArcSDE service, type the port number of the ArcSDE service in the ArcSDE service text box.
3. In the Database text box, type the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) data source name for the database to which you want to connect.
4. [ユーザ名] フィールドにユーザ名を入力します。OS 認証を使用している場合は円記号（\）を入力します。
5. データベース ユーザで接続する場合は、[パスワード] テキスト ボックスにユーザのパスワードを入力します。OS 認証で接続する場合は、[パスワード] テキスト ボックスに「password」と入力します。
