Using Maps


Be sure you are connected to the Internet to use the Maps menu properly.

The default Maps layers are installed to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Business Analyst\Datasets\ArcGIS Online Maps.

Newly saved map services or layers, accessed from the Maps menu, must be saved to C:\My Output Data\ArcGIS Online Maps.

A similar way to add online services is through ArcGIS Add Data. A similar way to add services is through the Add Data command in ArcGIS.
