Changing the vertical symbology to a dashed line
You can change the symbology of a vertical line representing a navaid or a designated point in the profile view to a dashed vertical line by using the Dashed Vertical Line tool.
The default symbology of the vertical line is configured in the profile view settings.

- Start ArcMap.Conseil :
If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.
- On the main menu, click View > Layout View.
- On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aeronautical Terminal Procedures.
- On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aeronautical Profile Edit.
- Click the Edit Instrument Approach Profile button on the Aeronautical Terminal Procedures toolbar.
- Select a vertical line.
- Click the Dashed Vertical Line button on the Aeronautical Profile Edit toolbar.
A dashed line replaces the existing vertical line symbology.
Conseil :
You can change the symbology again by selecting a vertical line and clicking any of the other vertical line symbology tools.
