Toggling the Auto-pick functionality

The turn Auto-Pick On/Off button command ensures that the point collected is actually associated with a feature in the map. For example, having the snapping enabled ensures that the point is aligned with a feature in the reference layer. By default, this functionality is enabled.

Étapes :
  1. Start ArcMap.
    ConseilConseil :

    If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

  2. If necessary, load data in the map.
  3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Data Reviewer.
  4. On the Data Reviewer toolbar, click Data Reviewer > Positional Accuracy Assessment.

    The Positional Accuracy Assessment toolbar appears.

  5. Start a PAAT session.
  6. Click the Auto-Pick Off button Auto-Pick Off on the Positional Accuracy Assessment toolbar.

    The snapping functionality is disabled.

    To enable snapping, click the Auto-Pick On button Auto-Pick On on the Positional Accuracy Assessment toolbar.
