Applying the Visualize Elevation process

Etapes :
  1. Click the Layer drop-down arrow on the Image Service Definition Editor toolbar and choose the image service definitions you want to work with (if there is more than one).
  2. Click the Image Service Properties button Propriétés du service d'imagerie.
  3. Click Processes in the list on the left side of the Image Service Properties dialog box.
  4. Click Visualize Elevation in the Processes Available list and click the Add Process button Ajouter un processus.

This adds the selected process to the Processes Selected list. Each time the same process is added to the Processes Selected list, a number is appended to the alias—this number increases incrementally starting with 0. This number is not added if you have changed the alias of the process prior to adding the second, same process.

  5. Click Visualize Elevation [0] in the Processes Selected list and click the Edit Process Definition button Editer.

This opens the Visualize Elevation Process Definition dialog box.

  6. Optionally, type a new name in the Alias text box.
  7. Click the Visualized as drop-down arrow and click an elevation model visualization method.
  8. Type an Altitude value in the text box.

This value is only used for the Hillshade or Shaded Relief methods.

  9. Type an Azimuth value in the text box.

This value is only used with the Hillshade or Shaded Relief methods.

  10. Optionally, type a value in the Z Factor text box.
  11. Click the Symbology Source tab.
  12. Click the Symbology Source drop-down arrow and click an option.
    • If you choose Default Symbology, this can only be applied to the Hillshade, Slope, and Aspect terrain visualization methods.
    • If you choose Load from file, type the path and name in the Symbology File text box or click the browse button Browse to define the file.
    • If you choose Generated On-the-fly, click the Range Source drop-down arrow and click the range source.
    • If you choose Computed from AOI, click the Computation Method drop-down arrow and click a method.
  13. Click the Symbology Properties tab.
  14. Type values for the active text box parameters.
  15. Click OK.
  16. Check the process in the Processes Selected list.
  17. Click OK to close the dialog box.
  18. Build the image service definition with the Compute Output Properties options checked, as the output image properties will have changed.
