An overview of the Distributed Geodatabase toolset

This toolset provides tools used to replicate or extract data. Both tools can use a selected feature to define an area of interest to replicate or extract.

Tool	Description
Create Replica	Creates a replica to a personal, file, or enterprise geodatabase from a specified list of feature classes, layers, datasets, and/or tables in an enterprise geodatabase. Optionally use a filter geometry from another feature layer to replicate features within an area of interest.
Extract Data	Extracts input features to a geodatabase. You can optionally filter the input features with a polygon from another layer.
