Inserting the JOG Location Diagram element

By default, the property page will display all required adjoining sheets and their names. If the names need to be altered for any reason, the text that appears can be changed. It may appear that there are sheets missing from the property page. The property page will only display text boxes for JOG-A sheets that actually exist.

Once the Location Diagram element is created, it adds an additional data frame called Location Diagram (JOGA) to the current layout. If editing or symbology changes to the geographic features are required, they can be made using ArcMap software's standard tools.

If the graphic elements that appear outside the data frame need to be altered after creation, select the element in the layout view, click Convert To Graphics, then click Ungroup to ungroup the graphic elements that were used to create it.
