Zooming to a selected feature

When features are selected in ArcMap and you are using the Feature Manager, you can choose to zoom to the selected features when you select them on the Update tab. This allows you to see the full size of the features, regardless of the current map scale. For example, if you have a large built-up area selected in the map, it can be helpful to zoom to the feature so you can see its complete geometry.

Pasos:
  1. If necessary, enable classic snapping on the Production Editing toolbar by clicking Production Editing > Use Classic Snapping.
  2. Right-click a selected feature on the tree view on the Update tab on the Manage Features window, then click Zoom To.

When a feature is selected in the tree view, the map scale changes to fit the full extent of the selected feature.
