Removing the data frame manager

Removing a data frame manager will remove the data frame manager from the selected data frame. All the automatic calculations for buffer, rotation, scale and extent, and so forth, will no longer be used with the data frame.

Pasos:
  1. Start ArcMap.

    If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
  3. Click the Show Data Frame Manager Properties button Show Data Frame Manager Properties on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

  4. Click to choose the data frame manager you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete.

The selected data frame manager is removed from the shared map sheet or map series. All the data frame properties will be left as they are when the data frame manager is removed. For example, if a definition query was set by the data frame manager, it will leave the definition query set in the data frame. This is true of all the calculators, such as rotation angle, or buffer. You must open the data frame properties to change them.
