Inserting a distance value on a tray element that is drawn to scale
If you want to update a profile view tray element with distance values, Distance Value Style must have been chosen in the profile settings. If the profile view was not created with distance values, you will need to delete the existing profile view and create a new one with the distance values.
- Start ArcMap.Sugerencia:
If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.
- On the main menu, click View > Layout View.
- On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aeronautical Terminal Procedures.
- Click the Edit Instrument Approach Profile button on the Aeronautical Terminal Procedures toolbar.
-
Right-click the tray value to the left of where you would like to add the new tray distance value and choose Add/Split Tray value.
- Type the tray value distance you want in the New Tray Value text box.Sugerencia:
You can also split the distance value.
- Click OK.
The new distance value is inserted to the right of the selected distance value, and the rest of the distance values adjust to accommodate the newly added distance value.
When the distance value style is selected and drawn to scale, the distance values will automatically recalculate the scale of the tray element; the distance values will be drawn to scale when a new distance value is inserted.
