Extending verticals through the tray element by adding a distance value
You can extend verticals through the tray element of an existing profile view that are not already associated to a distance value. To do this, the Distance Value Style option must have been chosen in the profile settings. If the profile view was not created with distance values, you will need to delete the existing profile view and create a new one with the distance values.
Pasos:

If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.
