Clearing data frame rules

You can reset your preconfigured rules when saving multiple data frame rules in a sequence.

Pasos:
  1. Start ArcMap.

    If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

  2. Switch to layout view.
  3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Production Cartography.

    The Production Cartography toolbar appears.

  4. Click the Layout window Layout window button on the Production Cartography toolbar.

    The Layout window appears.

  5. In the Layout window, click the data frame to which you want to apply rules.
  6. The Layout window with the Layers data frame selected.
  7. Click the Apply Data Frame Rules Apply Data Frame Rules button on the Layout window toolbar.

    The Apply Data Frame Rules dialog box appears.

  8. If necessary, click the Source Data Frame: drop-down arrow and choose the source data frame.
  9. Click the Properties button Properties.

    The Data Frame Rules dialog box appears.

  10. Configure your data frame rules and click OK.
  11. Click Clear All on the Apply Data Frame Rules dialog box.

    The drop-down list in the Data Frame Rules area changes to <Default Rules>.

    NotaNota:

    This clears any data frame rules you had set.

  12. If necessary, configure your next set of data frame rules.
  13. If necessary, click Save to save your data frame rules.
  14. Click Cancel to close the Apply Data Frame Rules dialog box.
