Adding the SOC account to the logs folder

When using a Spatial ETL tool that is published as a geoprocessing service, the server object container (SOC) account must have full control of the Data Interoperability logs folder so that the service can write output. Use the following steps for Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Pasos:
  1. Start Windows Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the logs folder for your operating system. If the \Interoperability\logs folder does not exist, create it.

    Windows XP

    C:\Documents and Settings\<login name>\Application Data\ESRI\Interoperability\logs

    Windows Vista

    C:\Users\<login name>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\Interoperability\logs

  3. Right-click the logs folder and click Properties.
  4. Click the Security tab.
    1. In Windows Vista, click the Edit button. This is an added step for Vista only—all other steps are the same.
  5. Click the Add button.
  6. Type the server name and SOC account into the text box.

    For example: myserver\arcgissoc.

  7. Click the Check Names button to validate your input.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Check the Full Control check box.
  10. Click OK to accept your changes and close the dialog box.
