ArcGIS for SharePoint™ provides configurable mapping components for use with Microsoft SharePoint sites.

The product contains the following components:

• ArcGIS Map Web Part
• ArcGIS Location Field
• ArcGIS Geocoding Workflow

The Map Web Part can be used to display geographic data stored in ArcGIS Server map services, Spatial Data Service tables, and SharePoint lists on ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, or Bing Maps basemaps. You can also configure the Map Web Part's functionality, leveraging ArcGIS Server geoprocessing services or tools implemented using the Map Web Part's Extensibility framework and the ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight. The Geocoding Workflow allows you to spatially enable your SharePoint data so that it can be shown on a map. The Location Field allows you to easily visualize and manipulate the location of items in a SharePoint list.
