Using the ArcGIS Map Web Part
The ArcGIS Map Web Part enables rich display of SharePoint lists, ArcGIS Server services, and Spatial Data Services on an interactive map. With this web part, you can do the following:
- Use ArcGIS Online, Bing Maps, or ArcGIS Server map services as basemaps.
- Add data from SharePoint lists, ArcGIS Server, and Spatial Data Services on top of your basemap.
- Open maps from and save maps to ArcGIS.com.
- Map Microsoft InfoPath form libraries and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint document libraries.
- Define the appearance of datasets using simple, class breaks, or unique value symbols.
- Configure the functionality that is available in run mode.
- Display point features using clustering or heat maps.
- Configure the appearance of pop-up windows. Specify the pop-up window style and fields to display when pausing the pointer on map features.
- View tabular data for datasets within the map.
- Select records in the map and see them highlighted in the table and vice versa.
- Zoom to layers and selected features.
- Find items within a specified distance of point features.
- Export the tabular data from selected items to a CSV or TXT file.
