| GetLayerDescription | Returns the LayerDescription of the specified layer. |

| RefreshAttributes | Refreshes the attributes displayed in the attribute editor panel. |
| RefreshGraphics | Refreshes the graphic layers that contain displayed vertices and the highlighted feature. If called more than once, only one resource refresh is invoked. |
| RefreshHighlightedFeature | Refreshes the highlight on the highlighted feature, if one exists. |
| RefreshLayerVertices | Refreshes the displayed layer vertices for all edit layers. |
