ESRI.ArcGIS.ADF.IMS.Data contains classes for working with workspaces in ArcIMS map services. Workspaces define the location from which data are accessed, and include file-based sources such as shapefiles and image files and ArcSDE servers.

Classes

	Class	Description
	Dataset	An object that references a workspace from which a layer gets its data.
	FeatureDataset	A Dataset object that stores location information for the data in a FeatureLayer.
	ImageDataset	A Dataset object that stores location information for the data in a ImageLayer.
	ImageWorkspace	An object that represents a workspace for an ImageDataset.
	LayerIDDataset	A Dataset object that references the dataset of another layer.
	NamedWorkspace	A Workspace that exists in the ArcIMS service, and can be referenced.
	SdeWorkspace	A Workspace object that points to an Sde data-source.
	ShapeWorkspace	A Workspace object that points to a shapefile data source.
	StaticLayerDataset	A Dataset object for static layers.
	Workspace	An object that points to data and is referenced by a Dataset.
