How to use
See How to use ArcGIS samples for help on running the sample. If the sample has associated data, you will find that the sample's zip file includes a "data" folder alongside the language folders. However, you will need to update the sample to point to the location of the data once you have extracted all the files.
- Run the BufferFeatures application.
- Click Add Layer to add a feature layer.
- Click the Select Features tool and select features in the feature layer.
- Select a desired buffer width.
- Optionally, check the Save to shape check box and type the file name in the text field to persist the buffer as a shapefile.
- Click Buffer to buffer the selected features.
