Mosaic rasters

Purpose
This sample demonstrates how to create a raster mosaic from multiple raster datasets. It uses the following information:
  • Path to input raster workspace
  • Name of the first input raster
  • Name of the second input raster
  • Path to output raster workspace
  • Name of the resulting raster mosaic
A mosaic of the two raster inputs is generated.

How to use

See How to use ArcGIS samples for help on running the sample. If the sample has associated data, you will find that the sample's zip file includes a "data" folder alongside the language folders. However, you will need to update the sample to point to the location of the data once you have extracted all the files.

  1. Run the MosaicRasters application.
  2. Examine the output messages.
