Drag and drop layers

Purpose

This sample demonstrates how to enable the drag and drop capabilities of the TOC bean. This sample also creates an event listener for the onMouseDown event to create new map frames in the page layout.

How to use

See How to use ArcGIS samples for help on running the sample. If the sample has associated data, you will find that the sample's zip file includes a "data" folder alongside the language folders. However, you will need to update the sample to point to the location of the data once you have extracted all the files.

Start the DragAndDropLayers application.
Check the Layer Drag and Drop box. The drag and drop capability is enabled.
Right-click and drag the page layout. New map frames are created.
