Schematics Engine application

PurposeThis ArcGIS Engine application is a sample of a Schematics application using a MapControl and the Schematics engine controls.

How to use

See How to use ArcGIS samples for help on compiling, setting up the debugger, and running the sample. If the sample has associated data, you will find that the sample's zip file includes a "data" folder alongside the language folders. However, you will need to update the sample to point to the location of the data once you have extracted all the files.

  1. Start Visual Studio, open the solution file, and build the project.
  2. Start the SchematicApplication.exe application.
  3. Display a schematic diagram by either opening a saved .mxd file containing a schematic layer or adding a schematic diagram (using the Add Data command). The Schematics engine controls are now available (the Schematics extension is required).
