About using search parameters and operators

You can find topics in the Help system by typing keywords in the Search text box and clicking the Search button. The search results display all occurrences of the keywords. If you want to find specific keywords in a specific order, encase the keywords in double quotes (""). For Help topics in the ArcObjects .NET SDK, click Local Help (see the following screen shot) to view topics installed on the hard drive.
For example, searching for the keywords Win32 API in the .NET SDK returns different results depending on your use of quotes or no quotes.
