Importing district information

You can import a *.txt or *.csv file that contains district short names, long names, and target values.

The *.txt file must contain the following format: short name, long name, target value.

Sample *.txt file format:

R1, 1, 100

The *.csv must not contain a header in the first row, and must contain the following format: short name, long name, target value.

Steps:

1. On the Create ribbon, click Districts.

   The District Statistics window appears. The District Statistics window displays the districts in your current plan, the symbology for each district, and the total population count for each district and demographics per district. You can also view the target mean.

2. Check Show Target Values.
3. Click Modify.

   The Modify Districts dialog box appears.

4. Click Import.
5. Navigate to the desired import file.

   The import file must be a *.txt or *.csv file to import.

   The *.txt file must contain the following format: short name, long name, target value.
